Our Mission

To transform the aging experience by setting a new standard in senior care through compassionate, physician-led, and proactive care that helps every resident truly thrive. We are dedicated to whole-person wellness—nurturing body, mind, and spirit—so our residents can remain happy, healthy, and out of the hospital, living each day with purpose and joy in a warm, supportive community.

Our Vision

Our vision is to redefine what senior living can be: a place of healing, growth, and flourishing. We strive to set a new standard in elder care—where proactive, evidence-based, and heartfelt service come together to promote wellness, dignity, and fulfillment. We aim to become a beacon of excellence and positive change in senior living, inspiring others to see aging not as decline, but as a season of continued life and meaning. Above all, our goal is to create a place made for our own families, where we would be happy to grow old ourselves.

Core Values

Integrity and Transparency

We uphold the highest standards of honesty and accountability. Our residents and their families trust us because we communicate openly and act with unwavering integrity in every decision and interaction.

Innovation and Scientific Wellness

We embrace innovation and evidence-based care to continuously improve outcomes. Through forward-thinking, physician-led approaches, we promote longevity, vitality, and quality of life.

Shared Success and Empowerment

We believe our team is our greatest strength. By sharing success and fostering ownership, we create a culture where everyone—staff, residents, and families—works together toward our common mission.

Family and Humanistic Care

We treat every resident as family. With compassion, dignity, and love, we create a true home—one where every person feels valued, respected, and genuinely cared for.

Dementia Care Values

Within our dementia care community, we are committed to innovative and proactive strategies that honor each individual’s story while supporting cognitive health and emotional well-being. We focus on maintaining independence, stimulating engagement, and enhancing quality of life—never accepting decline as inevitable, but continually striving for preservation, improvement, and dignity in every moment.

What sets us apart

Bethesda Assisted Living stands apart in the senior living industry through its physician-led ownership and operations model. Unlike traditional facilities focused primarily on hospitality, Bethesda integrates medical expertise and clinical oversight directly into daily management. This ensures every resident receives proactive, preventive, and holistic care tailored to their unique needs.

Our physician-led model provides an additional layer of both medical and mental health support that continuously monitors, adjusts, and optimizes care plans. The goal is not simply to maintain health but to help residents thrive—preserving independence, improving function, and preventing decline through early intervention and compassionate, evidence-based care.

Bethesda redefines assisted living as a place where seniors can experience measurable improvement in health and well-being—a new paradigm of thriving through medicine, compassion, and community.

Tina Nguyen

Executive Director

Tina Nguyen serves as Executive Director for Bethesda Assisted Living, overseeing operations across the organization’s three communities in Plant City. With more than two decades of experience in senior care, Tina brings a deep understanding of assisted living operations, resident wellness, and compassionate leadership to her role.

Tina’s career in senior living began at just nineteen years old when she started working as a dietary aide in assisted living. Inspired by the relationships she built with residents and families, she quickly discovered her calling in elder care. Through dedication, hard work, and a genuine passion for service, Tina advanced through multiple roles—including Certified Nursing Assistant, Medication Technician, and Wellness Director—before becoming an Executive Director.

This diverse clinical and operational background allows Tina to understand every aspect of community life at Bethesda, from direct resident care to team leadership and regulatory compliance. She holds her Florida Assisted Living Administrator License and has completed extensive training in Dementia and Alzheimer’s care, along with certifications in Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, and ServSafe food safety.

Tina’s greatest joy in her work comes from the relationships she builds with residents and families. She believes that the heart of assisted living is simple: kindness, listening, and genuine human connection. Whether sharing stories with long-time residents or helping new families feel comfortable during a transition, Tina works to ensure every individual feels heard, respected, and truly at home.

Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Tina enjoys spending her time outside of work creating memories with her family. As a proud mother, she and her family can often be found visiting theme parks together on their days off.

At Bethesda Assisted Living, Tina is proud to lead a team that believes senior care should be more than just services—it should be love, compassion, and community every day.
